I’m just one guy…

I’m just one guy.

I’m just a guy who likes to read about geeky things like search engines, almost as much as I like to read about intellectual things like Will Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.

I’m just a guy who likes to run in circles on a track, almost as much as I like to run through knee-deep mud on a trail in Frick Park.

I’m just a guy who likes to spend time traveling, almost as much as I like to spend time at home with my wife (okay, so I really like to spend time traveling with my wife, so I guess this analogy may not work so well).

So why is it that the world treats me — and you for that matter — as if we’re all the same? I’m not. And neither are you. We’re individuals. Things I like, you may or may not like. Things I hate, you may or may not hate. What’s relevant to me, may or may not be relevant to you.

And, that’s what this blog is all about. Hyping the great people, products, and places that realize and embrace the fact that we’re unique individuals. Lambasting the people, products, and places who treat us as though we’re the same person, with the same interests, and the same sense of relevance.

In a nutshell, this blog is about the notion of individual relevance.
